United States Department of Commerce Awards Export Achievement Certificate to Almex USA
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Cerritos, California, USA – June, 2008– Almex was awarded the highly coveted Excellence in Exports Award by the United States Department of Commerce (DoC) at a Chamber of Commerce event in Cerritos, California. The award acknowledges Almex’s achievements in recent years in obtaining contracts in four continents and for their successful formation of a Joint Venture with Hindalco Industries Ltd. The India-Based joint venture partner, Hindalco, is the largest aluminum producer in India and the world’s largest aluminum flat rolled products producer. The award also recognized Almex’s contribution and assistance in helping the DoC in Southern California in developing global trade relations for the benefit of the region.
The awards were presented on behalf of the United States Government by Mr. Claudio Lilienfeld, US Trade representative for South and Southwest Asia, and by Mr. Paul Tambakis of the US Department of Commerce.
